Spring Hill survived a scare with Greenwald winning 6-3 to stay in the hunt for the SCL-North crown. The Chargers used three-run rallies in the first and seventh innings to take the win. Jamie Terres doubled twice and each double figured in the team’s rallies. In the first he doubled in Eric Terres and sent Austin Schoenberg to third. An outfield error allowed Schoenberg to score. Jamie Terres later scored on an field error. In the seventh Jamie Terres again doubled in Eric Terres.  [Nathan Terres] then doubled in Jamie Terres. An infield error later allowed pinch runner Owen Meyer to score. Greenwald had taken a 3-0 first inning lead. Ryan Kraemer doubled to score Mitchell Worms. Doug Imdieke followed with a single that scored Nick Rademacher and Kraemer. In the second the Cubs took a 4-3 lead on Rademacher’s sacrifice fly scoring Tyler Thomas. Spring Hill removed Brent Terres from the mound in the sixth inning when Greenwald threatened to score again.  [Jordan Welle], the winning pitcher, pitched out of that jam and finished the game. Greenwald’s Andy Ulbricht started and pitched into fifth inning. Nick Rademacher finished for Greenwald and was charged with the loss.
